The Talbot Sunday Update
Welcome to the Talbot Sunday Update. This is a weekly communication that will be sent out to families every Sunday evening. It will include reminders, updates, and specific information about the upcoming school week.
Our collaboration with Smore allows families to select the language which best meets their needs.
Thank you to Gary and Jill Laflamme of Westbrook who donated $300 worth of playground equipment for our students to enjoy at recess each day.
Thank you to our amazing staff for preparing their classrooms and our school for the arrival of students under very challenging circumstances.
Thank you to our Foster Grandparents who show up each day to support our students.
Thank you to our PTO who supports a variety of events throughout the school year.

COMINGS AND GOINGS - A FEW IMPORTANT REMINDERS FOR FAMILIES
School arrival begins at 7:25. There is no adult supervision before 7:25. School begins at 7:40 and prompt arrival is important.
Dismissal is at 2:10 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Prompt pick-up of students is very much appreciated.
Early Release on Wednesdays
EVERY WEDNESDAY IS EARLY RELEASE.
Students are dismissed at 1:10. Parents should plan to pick their students up at school OR greet children at the bus stop one hour earlier than the other school days.
All About Student Safety
All Kindergarten students MUST be met at the bus stop by an adult. If no adult is there to greet a kindergarten student, they will return on the bus to Talbot Community School.
Change In Dismissal Plans
For any end-of-day change in dismissal plans, parents must call the office no later than 1:30 (12:30 on Wednesdays). Otherwise, for safety reasons, we will need to follow the original dismissal plan.
We are unable to dismiss students to anyone other than parents, unless the parents contact the office to provide permission and the plan for someone else to pick up their child(ren).
Visitors to Talbot Community School
All visitors to Talbot must enter through the front doors of the school and check in with the front office. For safety reasons, we will no longer buzz visitors through the community entrance.
