Dream Big! Set Goals! Take Action!
All things are made new in spring!
As a learning community, students and staff need to create the time to prioritize reflection, planning, and goal setting.

Looking ahead to the summer and ahead to next year, what are some challenges you might experience? How can you prepare for those challenges?
What do you want to accomplish before next school year?
What strengths and knowledge do you already have that you can build upon?
What are important habits that you will need to develop to work towards your new goals?
What are important personal growth areas?

1. If your class used Google this year, you will want to help students "package" up their digital year. Google Classroom already has a folder for them (don't do anything with that folder), so all you have to do is have each student make a folder in their Google Drive. You can have them name it with the grade level, so their folder might say 3rd Grade. Then have them drag all their 3rd grade creations into that folder. This is especially important for 5th graders moving on to middle school. Model organization to help them have a great start to their year next year! Watch this YouTube video if you don't know how to create a folder in Drive.
2. In Synergy Gradebook, make sure to mark all report cards "complete" at the end of the 4th quarter and print a second copy. All of you should have paper copies of your 1st quarter grade book and possibly some other quarters that need to be turned in since it cannot be tracked in Synergy.
3. Shred or send home log in cards.
4. If you are using a Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, or Vimeo account connected to your SCPS email OR promoting your class, school, or district, please complete this form and give to Mike. Do NOT supply a password at this point until we get further clarification, but do fill out the rest of the form. It looks very formal, but it's not a big deal and we want you to use things to promote your classroom! We just need to know who is using it for HR purposes.
5. Classroom devices will be picked up on June 14th and 15th. If it is not picked up or you notice rooms with technology still out, PLEASE notify Curtis so things can be stored safely over the summer.
Thanks and have a great rest of the year!
