MIDDLE SCHOOL GIRLS PULL OFF A PERFECT SEASON!
It doesn't happen very often in sports, and is even more rare in basketball, but the IHS middle school girls team did it--16-0! An entire season without a loss. The accomplishment included an early championship trophy at the CPRS Blue and Gold Tournament, another trophy at the GPAC Mid-Season JV Tournament, and a third on Saturday night as the Lions beat KC East in the title game of the Eagle Heights Junior High Tournament.
Congratulations laddies (and Coach Smoot) on an incredible season!

Atruim Hotel and Conference Center
1400 N Lorraine St
Hutchinson, KS 67501
NOTES: This is the place we stayed last year. It has a fun indoor pool area, lots of open space for gathering, Free breakfast, etc.
This hotel is about a 30 minute drive from most gyms we will play in. However everyone loved this location and situation better than anything we could find in McPherson.
Some families choose to stay over on Saturday night rather than come home late after the game. If you decide to do this, be sure to make the appropriate reservation with the hotel.
If you have more questions please call Christy Mitchell (785) 760-4947
FREE Lesson on Light from SuperChargedScience.com
Light is a form of energy. Different detectors can sense?different colors. Our eyes are sensitive to optical light (think rainbows),?and our skin is sensitive to infrared (think heat). Anything warm gives off infrared light. Things that are really hot (between 3500?7500 degrees) give off light that is optically visible, and even hotter things (over 10,000 degrees) can give you sunburns, because it’s giving off light in ultraviolet wavelengths. Light that comes from radio stations is lower energy, longer wavelength than either of those, and I need a radio in my car to detect those kinds of wavelengths.
