Ultimately you have to make the call, however, I recommend to involve the educators and even your secretary in the placement of children into classrooms with a high level of transparency. As learners arrive over the summer you need to know where the best place for them would be and having this information at yours and your secretary's fingertips would benefit you greatly.

TPESS Goals
I spoke with all of you about the draft goals that I need you to create for next year. As a reminder, please have them completed in the next week or so. Remember that they are draft and subject to change at BOY of next year. One change has come to my attention this week. You will need to create at least 3 goals that will be standard. Some may have more, however, that will be determined with your supervisor at BOY. The following are the 3 mandatory.
- Please have a data goal based on your campus needs written in SMART goal format.
- Please have a goal in relation to discipline. It must be SMART, but can be qualitative in nature. Consider, referrals, suspensions and training.
- Please write a goal in relation to your leadership. Examples include, culture/climate, parent relations, communication, implementation of a program, coaching, etc.
If you have any questions about this, please give me a call.
Retentions
Send me an email by the close of the day on Monday IF you have any retentions.
