The Principal's Desk At Sycamore ES

Week Beginning January 18, 2016

Happy New Year!

Sycamore Parents,

This week at Sycamore will be a busy one as we celebrate some fun and exciting moments for our students. This week beginning on Wednesday we will celebrate our students' accomplishments for the 2nd quarter of school. Students who received an honor have received an invitation to attend. Thank you in advance for all you have done to help your child be successful. We couldn't do it all without you!

We will celebrate our 100th day of school on this Friday. We love this time of year because our students will have a fun day to honor this special day. It is amazing how fast times flies. This will mean just 80 more days of school left!

3rd-5th grade parents:

Our students will be taking the Georgia Milestones state assessment in April. As a staff, we will continue to keep you informed about how this assessment is designed and how your children can best succeed. Students will need to do well on this test to pass on to the next grade, so it is imperative that they work especially hard this last semester. Please reach out to us if you feel like you need additional support or explanation on its requirements.
