# 2 Sand/ Clay Dirt

You can have a geologist trace back the type of dirt to area of land that that specific dirt came from.

# 3 Twist Tie

Some grocery stores have different colored twist ties for different days of the week to show that their bread is freshly baked. You can check with the local grocery stores and see who bought bread on the day of the colored twist tie. Or some brands might have that specific type/ color of twist tie.

#4 Used Baby Wipe

Each brand of baby wipe has a different pattern so you could check and see what brand of baby wipe it is and who bought those recently. You could also contact a forensic scientist to test the substance on the baby wipe and see if that brings up any new leads.

#5 Broken Lipstick

You could see if the lipstick has any DNA on it. You could also check with the brand and see who has bought any lipstick in that color. You can also check with the suspect list to see if any of the suspects usually wear that shade of lipstick.

#6 Red Fibers

We can send these to a forensics lab and they will be able to test them for a match, they can also use it to narrow down what the suspect was wearing or an object involved.

#7 Athletes Foot Toenail Clipping

We can contact doctors for prescription on athletes foot. You can use nail to maybe determine if they are male or female depending on the size. We can also run test to see if any skin was attached.

#8 Hair

This can be used to narrow down the class evidence for color and length or hair type. If we are lucky and send it to a forensics lab with a root attached we may even find a match to the person.

#9 Cork

Most bottles have their own type of cork they use, if you can narrow down the bottle that was purchased you can use that to see if anyone in the area has purchased that bottle.

#10 Used Match

You can send this to forensic science, they can run the stick for finger prints. you also may be able to identify where or what they used it for.

You can trace the DNA and blood type in the organ and link it back to either a specific person or narrow the suspect pool because of the blood type

You can get DNA and blood type from the blood spatter and narrow down the suspect pool or find a specific person

You might be able to find fingerprints on the peel of the banana peel or DNA from the saliva on the banana

You could get dental records and try and narrow the suspect pool by who has that shape and type of tooth. You might also be able to get some DNA from dried saliva off the tooth

This button could be used as class evidence by looking at people that have a specific shirt or a shirt with that type of button.
