TCEA Conference
The Texas Computer Educators Association (TCEA) Conference is being held in San Antonio February 4-8. I plan to ask PTO to consider funding the registration fee for a group of Cibolo Creek teachers to attend. Michael Joannou, Aileen Wiggins and Jessica Sills have agreed to attend as our “returning/experienced” conference goers. I’d like to be able to send 3 more teachers to this conference, if possible.
If you’re intimidated by big conferences and new environments, please know that there is a reason I like having “returning/experienced” conference goers attend with newbies. They will help you register, choose courses and navigate the conference. If you want to know more about the TCEA conference, please talk to Michael, Aileen or Jessica; you can also visit with April Brinson, Melissa Stangle, Amy McFee or me.
If you’d like to be considered to attend TCEA, please send me an email by November 10th so I can prepare a funding request from PTO.
TTESS
I learned this week that the district has decided to only require ONE formal observation per teacher regardless of the number of years you've been teaching. This is great news for many of you!
