Educational databases available to RPS staff.

Are you taking a graduate course? Are you looking for research for your TeachPoint assessment?

For graduate classes or research for the Danielson Model, teachers have access to the databases purchased by Ralston Public Schools and through NebraskaAccess. ProQuest K12 Products offers, among its other databases, ProQuest Professional Education, a comprehensive research collection of more than 300 magazines and journals for K-12 professional development and continuing education.

In addition, Ralston High School offers Ebscohost FirstSearch via NebraskaAccess. Considered the most-used reference resource around the world. EBSCOhost FirstSearch includes ERIC, the Education Resource Information Center. ERIC provides access to education literature and resources. The database provides access to information from journals included in the Current Index of Journals in Education and Resources in Education Index. This resource contains more than a million records and links to hundreds of thousands of full-text documents from ERIC back to 1966.

Both Pro-Quest and EBSCOhost FirstSearch provide a secure place to store and search results, and offer time-saving results management tools such as Search Alerts, Journal Alerts, and RSS Feed Alerts.

These databases can be accessed through Ralston Public Schools Public Access Catalog at Once there, click on Digital Content, under Library LInks. NebraskaAccess is available to all residents of the state of Nebraska as well as schools in the state.
