Message To Our Families

Dear Families,

We hope you are enjoying the autumn weather! Even though we have had some rainy days, try and get your children outdoors whenever possible as fresh air and exercise is so important for their health and development. Please have your child practice wearing a mask anytime they cannot socially distance safely both indoors and outdoors such as going for a walk. Our goal is to teach our students the skills they need to stay healthy and safe.

We realize that remote learning can be difficult for our young children and for their families who need to supervise and help their child. PLEASE make every effort to have your child participate so they can continue to learn and become familiar with the routines and expectations of school. We thank you for your effort and cooperation in this matter.

I will continue to reach out to our parents/guardians to see if you might be able to help in other ways to enhance the preschool program. Here are some opportunities for you to consider:

  • Fundraising Chair (Meadow Farms gift wrap and items and other fundraising opportunities, BLOCKS t-shirts)

  • Social Media Chair (oversee Facebook and Instagram)

  • Citywide PTO representative from BLOCKS preschool

  • Spirit Days - one per month (e.g. crazy hair day, favorite sports team, silly sock day, color day, pajama day, etc.) Create schedule and flyers to go home to families.

  • Raffle Chair - BLOCKS Raffle (Spring)

  • Classroom Liaisons (On-going)

  • Fun Day Chair (in June)

  • Family Fun Night Chair (January/February)

  • Coordinate Teacher Appreciation Luncheon (May)

PLEASE consider helping us to support the children's and families experience at BLOCKS Preschool!
