Hello Future Members of the Hingham Middle School Community!

Before people all begin to head off for April vacation, I wanted to remind everyone that we will hold a Parent Information Evening on Thursday, April 27 at 7:00 PM in the HMS auditorium.

During this presentation, you will be given a general overview of HMS, what a typical day is like, and what your child can expect in terms of the transition from elementary school to middle school.

Following this presentation, you are invited to visit our cafeteria to learn more about the many clubs and activities available to our students after school each day.

Additionally, I am currently scheduled to join both the South and PRS PTO meetings in May for less formal "Q and A" sessions.

• May 5 - South Elementary School at 9:00 AM
• May 31 - PRS Elementary School at 8:30

The incredible HMS PTO is looking for help!

The current board is composed of parents of students who will be moving on to high school come next fall, so we are in need of new leadership!

We are looking for three to four volunteers to fill out the board as we already have a PTO Treasurer for ‘23 ‘24. Volunteers help with fall grade level events and oversee chairs for staff appreciation and mini-grants.

It’s a fun, but not large commitment and a great way to get involved at the middle school.

Please consider taking on one of these important positions as you join HMS.
