School News & Happenings

Hello Center Community -

Snow finally arrived at The Center School! The photo shows our students' giant snowball creations that dotted the landscape of our field and playground. If you have a chance to come to see this in person, after the next snow, it is worth checking out! It was an impressive landscape.

Tomorrow night I'll be hosting the first virtual, "Chat with the Principal," I'll be taking questions and comments and sharing general information about how our year is going. Feel free to join for part or all of the hour. I look forward to seeing some of you at this event.

Please take a quick look at the photos of our Lost & Found. Jackets, hats, water bottles, and other items are piling up at a rapid rate! We'll be donating everything in Lost & Found over the February break, so be sure to look for anything you're missing.

There is a "happy hum" at Center as we greet the month of February this week. Our February break is only a few weeks away, so we are busy with all of our great work as we look ahead to the end of the second trimester. There are a lot of fun activities coming up as well ... read on in this newsletter for all the details!

Happy February!

Shelley Dulsky

Notes from Nurse Dumas

Dear Parents,

Just a friendly mid-year reminder to always call or email when your child is absent as early as possible. Also, please state the reason for your child's absence. I still track Covid numbers along with Flu and Strep Throat.

Parents of 4th-grade students, I need a current copy of a physical with immunization records. Thank you.
