Fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Oswego and Anderson Humane adoption day! Event includes a raffle; well behaved dogs welcome on a leash. Many toppings for the pancake bar! Get your tickets online.

Stories of SD308!
Congratulations Darren Howard!! SD308 Athletic Director Darren Howard received the Division Athletic Director of the Year from the Illinois Athletic Directors Association and a merit recognition by the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association for his dedication, selflessness, and commitment.
U.S. News and World Report Top High Schools! SD 308 is proud to share that both of the district’s high schools have been ranked in the top 25% of high schools in the state and in the national Best High Schools Rankings by U.S. News and World Report. Schools are ranked on their performance on state-required tests, graduation, and how well they prepare students for college. Read more!
Congratulations OHS Students! SkillsUSA students from Oswego High School, under the guidance of Kevin Pattermann, and Tom Dwyer, recently competed at the SkillsUSA Illinois Championship and brought home four (4) medals: two (2) gold, one (1) silver and one (1) bronze! The two individuals who brought home the gold medals (Daniel Overstreet - Cabinetmaking and Conor Auton - Restaurant Service) have now qualified for the SkillsUSA National Competition which will be held in Atlanta, Georgia on June 23, 2022. National School Nurse Day is May 11th, it was established to foster a better understanding of the role of school nurses in the educational setting. High School Summer School Registration - NOW OPEN!
Registration for High School Summer School should be completed via SD 308's online registration process. Click Here to view the complete SD 308 High School Summer School Catalog. PrairieFest Parade 2022
Sunday, June 19, 2022 (Step off: 1:00pm)
- Sign up to represent your school in the Oswegoland Park District's PrairieFest "Just Another Day in Paradise" parade.
- Free tshirt will be provided to those parade walkers who have signed up
- PLEASE NOTE: If signing up a student in Grades K-5, a parent must also sign up to walk (thank you)!
- Once signed up, you will receive an email indicating that you are confirmed to be a participant.
- As we get closer to the event, you will receive an email regarding where to meet, what time to meet, and how to pick up your tshirt
- PLEASE provide an email address that you will be monitoring at the end of May/beginning of June so that we can contact you.
ATTENTION GRADUATING SENIORS:
Your elementary school would like you to come back one last time to walk the halls in an Alumni Walk. Please click here to see details regarding who to contact, what to bring, and when to RSVP by. Congratulations on this exciting time!
COVID-19
Free Test Kits: All American households can order two sets of four free at-home COVID-19 test kits. Order here.
District Testing Locations:
Old Traughber (AHM):
- Registration is completed through an electronic consent form for students and staff. Once registered and consent is given, testing can be completed at any of the above. Lab results will be automatically fed from the lab into CrisisGo and you will receive an email from CrisisGo with results. Information can also be found on the testing site information page on the district website.
- Please Note: Federal testing funds have been depleted. At this time, testing can only be done at this location if insurance is available. There will be no cost to the person being tested (no co-pay, deductible, cost-share). Please be sure your registration online includes your insurance.

SD 308 BOE Public Forum
- The Oswego Community Unit School District 308 Board of Education is hosting a Public Forum on Monday, May 16 at 7:00pm, rescheduled from March.
- Location: Plank Junior High School (Cafeteria), 510 Secretariat Lane, Oswego, IL 60543
- Anyone interested in sharing ideas, comments, and concerns with the Board of Education is invited. This is an opportunity for parents, community members, and business leaders to engage with the board, asking questions and engaging in two-way communication.
The forum will be live streamed on the district website at www.sd308.org.
