Meet Mrs. Branch
Welcome to 5th Grade Reading!
Family
I have a husband, who is a Pastor, 2 dogs and a 3-year-old foster son. I also have one brother, and a very large extended family. We love spending time together when we get to.
School and Teaching
I graduated from Sam Houston State University, and have a Master's degree in Reading. (A Master's degree is the 2nd degree you get in college, after an Undergraduate)
I have taught 1st, 3rd and 6th grade. This will be my 5th year of teaching!
Fort Worth, TX
I grew up in Fort Worth! It is one of my favorite places, with so many things to do and the TEXAS RANGERS!
Sam Houston State University
Lubbock, TX
My husband and I moved to Shepherd from the Lubbock area.
A few of my favorite things....
Cruises!
My husband and I have been on 15 cruises! We love them! They are relaxing, and a great way to see different places. We have been to Mexico, the Bahamas, Jamaica, the Grand Cayman Islands, Haiti, Florida, Belize, and more!
Disney
I LOVE Disney! The movies, the parks, the songs....I know a lot about Disney and can sing almost any song from any of the movies (old or new)!
Reading
Obviously I love reading. My favorite author is Karen Kingsbury, who writes adult Christian Fiction. I also love the series like Little House, Harry Potter, Divergent, Hunger Games and authors like Beverly Cleary!
Reading makes your mind BLOOM!
