Back to School!

It is hard to believe that summer is nearing an end, and school starts this week for most of the school systems in Region 2. While visiting with teachers and administrators last week, I could sense the excitement and anticipation for the upcoming school year.

There are so many great things happening in our region, and we want to share information regarding innovative programs and professional learning with others. Throughout the '19-'20 school year, we will spotlight one of our ten school systems each month, emphasizing some of the programs and learning that captures their system's vision. This month, the Athens State Regional In-Service Center spotlights Hartselle City Schools. Our hope is to build a region of collaboration, sharing ideas and resources.

We look forward to providing you with great professional learning experiences throughout the school year. Please do not hesitate to contact the Athens State Regional In-Service Center with any of your professional learning needs or ideas. You can reach us at Patricia.maze@athens.edu or Holly.wood@athens.edu.

We wish you the best school year ever!
