At the beginning of the mid-1500's, most of the few scholars published works that challenged all of the ideas of the ancient thinkers and of the church. As of these scholars replaced old assumptions with new theories, they launched a change in European thought that many historians had came to call all of this the Scientific Revolution. The Scientific Revolution was a new kind of way of thinking about the very few, or shall I say of the many things of our natural world. This way was based upon very careful observations that had to be checked repeatedly, and many of willingness to question the accepted beliefs.
