Dear Everitt Families:
Much to celebrate here at Everitt! First, we have two students who made All State Choir! Congratulations to Mollie and Isabella! Thank you for using your beautiful voices to represent Everitt! Second, our Outdoor Leadership students presented their projects about ways to better our community. Their presentations were thoughtful and provided real solutions to problems present in our Wheat Ridge and Everitt community. Thirdly, our Service Learning class went on a field trip to Jeffco Animal Shelter to learn more about their program and to see how the supplies that the class collected were put to use. Fourth, we held our information night. Our students were amazing greeters, tour guides, and presenters. We are also grateful to the parents who presented on our parent panel. Fifth, our students have been working hard on MAP testing and so many of them are showing truly impressive growth. So proud of all of our Labradors!
Next week, we have an opportunity to listen to all of our music groups at Everitt at our Holiday Concert on Thursday at Wheat Ridge High School. If your child is expected at school on December 20th for our catch-up day, we will let you know through a messenger on Wednesday evening. Next week is also spirit week! Can't wait to see the creative ways our students and staff participate. We will share the experience with you in photos in the newsletter next week.
Thank you for supporting and believing in your neighborhood school. It is our privilege to partner with you!

He is a natural born leader and makes class a happy and inclusive environment.
EJ G. - EJ is a huge positive influence on everyone in our PE class. He leads by example and makes sure that all others feel included and welcome in our class. By doing so, he helps build a sense of belonging, which helps others want to participate with him and all others as well. EJ is always in a positive mood and checks in on others to make sure they are doing alright!
Isaiah B. - Isaiah stepped out of his comfort zone and continues to challenge himself during PE. Both in the weight room and the gym, Isaiah goes above and beyond to try new things and give himself a chance at success.
