We Engage We Educate We Inspire
Hello Stallions!
We had a great week last week at the Ranch. PreSchool did a great pretend activity outside with students taking turns driving a bus while everyone else sat on the bus. They decided where to go and what to do when they arrived at their pretend location. We pretended to go to a park, a hotel, and a party. The students got lots of practice expanding language, sequencing, and talking about past experiences! Mrs. Shaffer's class presented their descriptive paragraphs with each other and completed a pre-write and a plan for an explanation paragraph all in one writing workshop session. Our 2nd graders have been rehearsing for their upcoming musical and all the intermediate students have been enjoying our new gaga ball corral!
Just as a reminder, if you are dropping off or picking up students on Maple Road behind the school, please do not do so in between the portable school crossing signs. There is a high volume of traffic in that area, and the space between the signs needs to remain clear for the safety of our students who walk and ride bikes to and from school. Thank you so much for your support.
Monday, January 16th, there is no school in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Wednesday we have an early dismissal at 2:30 PM. Thursday is the 100th day of school and the 2nd Grade Musical "In Good Old Colony Times." Friday is a Stallion Style Day!
Have a great week!
