Digital Citizenship- Navigating the world safely, responsibly, and ethically.

Online Ethics- Set of principles and morals governing people's behavior as it relates to the internet and digital devices.

Digital media plays a very important role everyday in a high school students life, because you use it for almost everything. We use to all take notes on paper and also have homework and books on paper but now those things are all going digital. Digital Media can make your life easier by carrying less things but it can also make it harder because its more complicated and doesn't work all the time. We also use digital media for our social lives and if you don't use it correctly it could come back to haunt you in the future.

Digital Footprint & Reputation

Digital Footprint- All of the information about a person that can be found online.

Consequence- The effect of something that happened earlier.

The things you post online are never private and are going to be seen by many people and stay on the internet forever, even when you delete it. Colleges and jobs look at all of your things online to help determine if they want you. They won't take you if you have inappropriate or negative things all over your social medias. So you should always watch what you post and think how it will effect you and others now and in the future.

One pro of meeting people online are that you can meet new friends. Another pro is that you have someone you can talk to, and for some people it's easier to get things out. A con could be is that you don't really know who you are really talking to. Another one is, is that people can easily lie online and you wouldn't even know it.
