Building a Test in STI Assessment

Text can be copied and pasted into the text boxes, but copied text must first be pasted into "notepad" on the local computer to strip out HTML attributes. Then copy the text from "notepad" and paste it into the text box.

Adding Passages
Passages can be added to the system to be paired with any test question. If you copy and paste passages you must follow the same guidelines provided earlier to strip HTML attributes away from the text before pasting the text in a stimulus template.

Stimulus ID
When a passage (Stimuli) is added, a Stimulus ID will be generated. That ID must be recorded in the Item Information section of the item template in order for the passage to be linked to the question.

Click on "Assessment" and then "Create"
Creating an assessment allows you to add your created items to a test. You will simply select items from your folder(s) you want to include on the test you have created.
Click on "Build"
