SVDP Newsletter
December 1, 2022
This past Sunday was the first Sunday of Advent. We encourage all families to attend mass regularly, and especially at this special time of year.
There are only three weeks until our Christmas break. These weeks will be filled with joy, excitement, and some chaos. Please make sure your children are well rested and prepared for the school day.
Today, we learned that our Spanish teacher, Yesi Tiburcio, is making some life changes that will take her out of the Bay Area and unfortunately, no longer able to teach Spanish at SVDP. Friday will be her last day on campus. IES is pursuing a substitute and long term solution. We will keep you posted on this topic.
Please note that there is a calendar UPDATE:
- Monday, December 19th is an Early Dismissal Day with no Extended Care or gym available. Make the appropriate arrangements to get your student safely picked up at 12:45 / 12:55pm. We apologize for any inconvenience.
