What's Happening at St. Rose?
The season of Lent is upon us. This is a special time of year for self-reflection, helping others, fasting, and prayer. This Lent, the faculty and students decided to help the seminarians of our diocese. We do not often think about what these young men are going through as they discern whether God is calling them into the priesthood or to another vocation. Discernment can be a very difficult time and often can be lonely. This is why we decided to share our love, prayers, and excitement of God with them. The students will be making prayer cards, letters, and other keepsakes to mail out through Lent and a final special care package after Easter to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior.
More information about this project will be coming out next week.
