Major's Moment
Coming back from vacation usually feels like you need another vacation to rest. However, for some reason when you come back from vacation to take down decorations at your home and at the church - it can almost feel depressing. It seems as if the joy can be literally taken off the walls and everything doesn't seem as bright. The special planned moments, programs and hustle and bustle just comes to a halt. But, as the cleaning happens and everything gets back to the right place there comes along a sense of peace, freshness, and new beginnings. Let's be excited about the new things God will do!
Isaiah 3:19-21 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceived it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.
Thank you again to all who have led the last Sundays! We praise the Lord for Rich also preaching today on Fellowship Sunday! Remember we have potluck after church!

Read through the Bible this year.
A great way to begin the New Year is to start a read through the Bible in a year plan on the YouVersion App. A friend invited me to join in a reading plan. Here's a link to the plan if you'd like to check it out.

Young Adult Retreat
This year’s theme is “Surrounded!”(Hebrews 12:1). The theme “Surrounded” has a dual meaning. The first meaning is that we live in a world surrounded by sin and other negative forces. Secondly, we are also surrounded by the presence of God and His heavenly armies, so we do not need to fear!
We have special guests who are joining our young adult retreat 2022.
- Guest Speakers – Captains Emmanuel & Jennifer Masango: they are our new territorial youth & candidate secretaries.
- Worship Leader – David & Jenna Grace May: Jenna and her husband, David, travel together leading worship and sharing the love of Jesus all across the county. (More information about them: https://www.jennagracemay.com/)
