Cub Connection
January 23
News & Updates
Hello CELC & MVLA Families,
I hope you had a great weekend! Thank you for your continued support with staff being out and things not being quite the same. Thank you also for being understanding as we send you the required communications about close contacts. I hope you all stay healthy!
The staff and students can't wait for the highly anticipated visit from Zero the Hero. He is scheduled to visit us on Friday, which marks the 100th day of school. Zero the Hero looks forward to flying in to say hi to our Cubs and practice counting to 100.
I have been enjoying congratulating students for their "pawsitive" referrals. It is such a delight to have students come to the office for a "pawsitive" visit. I can't wait to see more faces this week.
As a reminder, if your child is out on an independent study contract, please check in at the school office to turn in the paperwork when they return to school. We appreciate your partnership in your child's education.
The District continues to be guided by California Department of Public Health and our experiences from last year. Thank you for your support while we continue to navigate the 2021-22 school year.
