Monroe Memo
April 2023
A Message From Mrs. Friis
Dear Monroe Families-
With heartfelt words, I write to inform you that I will be leaving the principal position at Monroe Elementary at the end of the 2022-2023 school year. After much thought and personal reflection, I have accepted a principal position closer to my home in Green Bay. It has been a privilege and pleasure to serve as principal of Monroe for the past four years. I feel very fortunate to have been part of the Monroe and Manitowoc communities, and I will miss the exceptional students, staff, and families I have met.
The school district will conduct interviews and announce a new principal in the future.
Thank you for your ongoing support and cooperation as we finish the 2022-2023 school year!
Take care,
Mrs. Friis
