The Industrial Revolution was a time period where there was new inventions and people working hard for low pay. The industrial Revolution began in England in 1780. During the industrial Revolution their where new inventions which made it easier for travel and work. One invention the helped out a lot during the Industrial Revolution was the Cotton Gin. Eli Whitney invented the Cotton Gin to make it easier to clean cotton. The working conditions in factories were harsh because they had under age children working long hours for low pay But, work in factories became a little bit easier since there was new inventions.
This is an example of what it was like working in factories.
This is what factories looked like fro the out side also, the factories polluted the air.
This is a collage of pictures that explains the Industrial Revolution.
Child Labor were kids under age working long hours for low pay. They worked long hours, horrible conditions, and they worked in either mines or factories. In my opinion I think it was unfair that kids had to work long hours in factories with horrible conditions for low pay. It was a sad time for the kids because all they wanted was to go to school.
Industrial Revolution & Child Labor
Overall I think the Industrial Revolution was a horrible but great time. I think the Industrial Revolution was A horrible time because of Child Labor. I really don't think that under age kids should have to work in factories or mines in horrible conditions But, it was a great time of new inventions like the Cotton Gin or the Flying Saucer.
