It's hard to believe that this is our final campus newsletter for the 2019-2020 school year and what a year it has been! Thank you for working hard to see this year through!

Remember that our last day of school is Wednesday, May 20! Keep encouraging your child to finish the year in a strong manner!

Stay connected with us through the summer via our campus Facebook and Twitter accounts. We will be sure to place updates there throughout the summer, so that you can stay up to date on the latest information for the 2020-2021 school year.

For now, enjoy your summer break and we will see you soon!

Big picture

Distance Learning Site

Our Life School Distance Learning Website will remain accessible to our families over the summer. We encourage you, as you are able, to have your students continue to access resources, lessons, and activities to promote learning over the summer! Please continue to access this site in the same manner you have done during our Distance Learning time. Thanks!

LIfeLeader Wrap-up

You have learned about all 15 Leader Profile Attributes. I hope that you take what you have learned and apply it to everything you do here at Life School, at home, and as you continue your education. These attributes will make you great leaders!

You have learned about social awareness, self-managing, being self-aware, critical thinking, and how to be a problem solver.

This weeks I will statment:

“I am ready to LEARN, ready to LEAD, and ready for LIFE!”

Our last spotlight of the year is University of Houston. Shasta, the Cougar, enjoyed a great life at U of H, but is now represented by a cartoon mascot. Their 45,000 students focus on Business, Management, and Marketing. Visit: to learn how to become a Cougar.

7th graders for 2020-2021 school year:

Students are required to have 2 new immunizations for entry into 7th grade.

The 2 shots that are required are: Td booster & Meningococcal

Teacher/Staff Member of the Month

Staff Member of the Month: Tracie Perkins

This last month of the year we are excited to share that Mrs. Tracie Perkins is our Staff Member of the Month. We all know how great Mrs. Perkins is at greeting everyone with a warm smile at out front office and how hard she works at helping us get our students to you or items to them during the day. This is her ninth year with Life School Red Oak, where she has been an Instructional Aide and now our front office Receptionist.

Tracie and her husband, Chad, have three amazing children. With two boys and a daughter that are all active in athletics, Tracie enjoys all types of sports. She loves to relax at Hobby Lobby with her best friend too!

Teacher of the Month: Jordan Stifle

Congratulations to Jordan Stifle for being our May Teacher of the Month! Mrs. Stifle has been with LSRO for 3 years, teaching 2nd grade. She has been married to her husband, Brian, for 6 years. Together they have a soon-to-be 3 year old, Spencer, and a dog named Bruno. She is an amazing singer-songwriter and leads worship for a women's touring event. We are so thankful for the Resilience and Effective Communication Mrs. Stifle has brought to the Life School family.
