From the Principal's Desk
Here we go, Heron families!
We only have six more weeks together this school year, and it is always a busy and fun-filled time. This month alone, we have state testing, field trips, and our School Carnival! We have more field trips, our annual P.E. field day, the Kindy-500, a 4th-grade graduation walk, and a big school dance in June! Be sure to stay informed by following us on Facebook, reading school/classroom newsletters, and checking those backpacks for important notes from your child's teacher.
Speaking of your child's teacher, I want to wish our Hillcrest teachers and other certificated staff a very happy Teacher Appreciation Week! It is a privilege to work with this incredibly caring and talented group of professionals including our K-4 classroom teachers, our music, art, PE, and library specialists, and all of our dedicated educational staff associates. I appreciate all they do to educate and build relationships with our kids, not just this week, but every week.
As always, thank you Hillcrest families for partnering with us to support our students, staff, school, and community.
Respectfully,
Paula Seaman
