The Titanic Band

It was an eight member band that was led by Wallace Hartley. John Wesley Woodward, John Federick Preston Clark, Georges Alexandre Krins, Theodore Ronald Brailey, John Law Hume, and Percy Cornelius Taylor were also players of the band.


The band/orchestra first started playing in the first class lounge, they then moved to the deck of the ship. The band played Nearer My God To Thee, Now the Day Is Over, There Is A Green Hill Far Away, On The Resurrection Morning, Eternal Father, Strong To Save, Lead Kindly Light, Our God, Our Help In Ages Past, The Roast Beef Of Old England.


The violin, that belonged to Wallace Hartley, was found with a bit of damage.
