Viking Fun Run: ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ๐จ
Valhalla families!
Weโre only 2 weeks away from our Viking Fun Run! Our goal is to raise funding for school enrichment projects. We will be creating outdoor classrooms, staffing and filling a STEAM room, creating a wellness center for our school counselor, as well as other various community building projects. Weโve asked our friends at Booster to power our fundraiser to make it more profitable, fun, and easy for everyone!
Hereโs what all students can get excited about:
โข Fun, engaging character development lessons
โข A high-energy event to give our school a much needed boost of fun!
If your family feels itโs not in the position to financially support the school, thatโs ok. Families can actually support our school by also SHARING about our fundraiser with friends and family online. Sharing IS supporting. Our goal is 100% participation!
Here is a quick video overview of our fundraising program. We want all families to get registered by October 4th! Log on to MYBOOSTER.COM today and enter your familyโs details.
We are working hard to make this fundraiser safe, fun, and successful for everyone!

A Letter from our VPFA President
Dear Valhalla Families,
Welcome to fall! Itโs officially pumpkin spice season, yet the weather is still in the 90s. While we (hopefully) prepare for cooler weather, we will be opening an online spirit wear store soon with all sorts of options including long sleeved tees and sweatshirts. We will also be popping up with Flash Sales from time to time to unload old stock of adult-sized t-shirts.
Thanks to all who attended the Welcome Back Dinner Dance. It was a raging success. A special thanks to Paul Petrescu and family for that wonderful entertainment, and to Maddie Lauricella, Laurie Berry, Tiffany OโSullivan and Marcie Stewart for stepping up to make sure this event happened even without an event chair. I think it was a wonderful way to kick off our school year!
We are in need of book fair co-chairs! We have less than two months until this really fun event
and so if we are unable to find anyone to chair it by mid-October, we will be forced to cancel. If you have any questions or are interested in stepping up, please email vpfafundraisingdirector@gmail.com. This is a great event for friends to run together and youโll have the support of Mrs. Neys and the board behind you.
We have several events coming up soon:
Pleasant Hill Community Service Day Sat 9/25 at 9am
Walk to School Day โ Wed 10/6
Boosterthon Fun Run โ begins 10/4 โ event takes place on 10/13
VPFA General Meeting via Zoom โ Wed 10/20 at 6pm
Valhalloween โ Sat 10/23 from 3pm-6pm
Details for all of these events can be found in Konstella.
Thank you for all that have stepped up to help Valhalla a better place!
Thank you,
Marni Hutchins
VPFA President
