A Letter from Principal Montalvo

Dear Caldwell Heights Families,

Welcome back! We are excited to see all our students return from break. It has also been great to welcome our virtual students back to campus. Have a great week!

Please make sure to fill out a lunch application. This application will determine our school's staffing, resources, and materials available to your children. We would like to ensure that your children are able to receive what they need to continue to be successful in school. Thank you in advance for supporting Caldwell Heights by filling out the application.

Please feel free to reach out, if you have questions or concerns.

Warm Regards,

Michelle‌ ‌Montalvo‌ ‌

Masks

  • Per the CDC, one way to prevent the spread of COVID-19 is proper mask usage. Health officials encourage everyone, whether vaccinated or not, to wear a mask when indoors and around others who are not in their immediate household.
  • In accordance with Governor Abbott’s executive order, the District cannot require students, staff or visitors to wear masks.
  • Schools are tightening mask requirements at all campuses. The new policy will limit mask exemptions to health and /or developmental conditions. Information on requesting an exemption is posted on the district’s website.

  • Our greeters will be encouraging social distancing and will also ensure that all students get to their classroom safely.

Resources are available in English and Spanish. All you need to access these resources is a device with internet access and our Caldwell Heights passwords! The Caldwell Heights Library Research Resources page lists everything that is available, including PebbleGo, CultureGrams, World Book Encyclopedia, and much more. A link to the usernames and passwords for these resources is listed below. You must be logged into your child's RRISD Google account to access the passwords.
