Conferences are Monday and Tuesday

Conference sign ups for K-5 are on Sycamore! 6th-8th grade teachers will be in the school gym and parents will have the opportunity to meet with each of their child's teachers. PreK parents should sign up for conferences with their child's individual teacher.


Ms. McCue and Mr. Egan will be in the gym and available to meet with any parents of Kindergarten-8th grade. They will not be available Tuesday from 2:30-5:00.

November Lunch Orders Now Available


The November Lunch Menu is available for students in grades Kindergarten - 8th Grade (preschool is handled within their classroom)! Please Log in to Sycamore and order your child(ren)'s lunches for November. The deadline for ordering is Tuesday, October 15th by 11:00 PM. If you have trouble logging into Sycamore, please call the school office at 763-561-5101 for help.

If your child(ren) are having cold lunch all month, we would appreciate an email stating this!

It helps us for record keeping purposes!

Help Wanted - Morning Monitors on Mondays

We are still looking for someone to be a morning monitor on Mondays from 7:00 AM-7:30 AM. This is an awesome way to collect volunteer hours. The volunteer for this position needs to be E3 certified (VIRTUS, Code of Conduct and Background Check). Athletics Needs your Help!

We are hosting a volleyball tournament on October24, 26 and 28th here at St. Al's! There are a lot of volunteer opportunities for this event listed on Sycamore! Sign up TODAY!!! And come cheer on our Crusaders!

Educational Outfitters Fall Sale

Educational Outfitters is having a fall sale offering 15% off uniforms and accessories Oct. 5-15. It's a great time to shop for some long sleeve uniform shirts, sweatshirts or sweaters, and a long sleeve 1/4 zip (MIDDLE SCHOOL ONLY). Please remember that sweaters or sweatshirts without the St. Alphonsus logo are NOT part of our dress code. All orders placed by Oct. 15 will be delivered to the school by October 31.

Photographer Needed

Are you a professional or amateur photographer? We are looking for a volunteer to take photos for grandparents/special persons day on the morning of Friday October 25th. The time frame for photos will be from 8 - 11 am. If this volunteer opportunity interest you and you are available please email Susan at homeandschool@mystals.org

Help out with Teacher Meals during conferences!

Help Feed Our Teachers & Staff!

Volunteer opportunities are still available to help provide dinner to our hard working teachers & staff during the upcoming fall conferences on Monday, October 14th. The staff will be at school all day teaching our students and then will be here all evening meeting with parents during fall conferences. What better way to say thank you then to help provide dinner to the hard working staff? Sign ups are available on Sycamore to provide a food item for their dinner. The item can be homemade or store bought. Families will receive 1 hour of volunteer time for each item they bring. Please drop off your item to the school office or staff lounge before 4:45 p.m. on October 14th with any instructions needed. Please label your items with family name along with any containers or utensils you would need returned. You may pickup your clean dishes anytime October 15th. Cookie Coordinator

Home and School is looking for someone to help coordinate Cookies with the Crusaders (formerly Muffins after Mass). There are two dates this year, Nov. 17 and Jan. 26 and time commitment is approximately 4-5 hours for each date. Duties include sending information to teachers, getting the cookies and supplies and making sure things thing run smoothly. It's an easy way to get some volunteer hours and a great way to meet St. Al's families. If you are interested or have questions, please email homeandschool@mystals.com Thanks!

Most of these opportunities require the volunteers to meet the Archdiocese's Essential 3 Requirements (please note this is not unique to St. Al's - but across the Archdiocese)! Gala 2020 - Come join our Gala Core Team!

Do you like planning parties? Do you like spending time with great people? Do you want to help out St. Alphonsus Catholic School in an amazing way. Come join the Gala Planning Core Team. The Gala Planning Core Team plans our largest annual fundraiser which is scheduled for April 18, 2020. The time commitment is about 1-2 hrs each month. The team meets on the first Sunday of each month at 6:30PM in the Teacher’s Lounge. You’ll meet some amazing people and you’ll have a ton of fun at the same time. Please remember if your child will be absent or tardy to call the attendance line at 763-503-3306. Please leave the specific reason your child is absent or tardy. If your child is gone from school for 3 or more days due to illness, a doctor's note is required. Also, if a child is gone from school for more than 1/2 day due to illness they may not participate in any evening activities. Thank you.
