Dear Heritage Families

We have so many exciting events coming up in the next few weeks! Book Fair, Someone Special Event, Staff Appreciation and Abilities Awareness Day. We will be excited to see you at these events. We are also looking for volunteers & donations to help these events fun smoothly.

For our Staff Appreciation this month we are looking for donations. We will be doing a "room service" order for all staff members. This includes a drink and a snack delivered to the classroom. If you would like to help donate - please click here to sign up. Your name will be added to the Room Service Member so our staff can see who helped sponsor their treat! All donations will need to be dropped off in the Primary office by Friday, February 10.

For our K-2 students we will be holding our 2nd Annual Abilities Awareness Day! We will be looking for 5 family volunteers to help be Heritage Hosts to the organizations who join us. If you are interested in being a host or making donations to feed our family volunteers and organizations--- please click here! (If you are having difficulty with these links or if you do not have gmail, you may call the office to donate or volunteer! 636-327-3846

We really appreciate the help and support and cannot wait to see your faces in our building at these events!

Love,

Heritage Science Fair

The Science Fair will be held on Monday, Feb. 6, 2023. Projects will be judged that afternoon, and will be on display for classes to view the following day. There will also be a Family Viewing/Pick-up that evening (Feb. 7) from 5-6 p.m. This is a great way to spend some time together as a family, learn about the scientific process, and stay busy during these unusual times. If you have any questions, please contact our Heritage Primary Science Fair coordinator, Kathy Hoffmann (kathleenhoffmann@wsdr4.org), or our Heritage Intermediate Science Fair coordinator, Kelsey Sweeten (kelseysweeten@wsdr4.org).

Visitor vs. Volunteer

Please take a moment to review our district volunteer and visitor approval process. Please click this link for more information. As a reminder, you need to update your background check each year, and it can be a timely process. If you have any questions about this, please reach out to our front office team.

Breakfast & Lunch

We already have some students who have negative lunch accounts. Please ensure that you are putting money in your child's lunch account.

Heritage Primary Breakfast & Lunch Menu

Heritage Intermediate Breakfast & Lunch Menu

We encourage all families to fill out the Free & Reduced Lunch form. Not only could you qualify for a free or reduced lunch rate, but this provides our district with the information it needs to secure Title 1 funds.

We have included a PDF of the Free and Reduced Lunch Application and also have paper copies available in the office.

The application can seem confusing, so if you would like us to help you fill it out-please call our office. We would be happy to help you ensure you are getting your best lunch rate!

Birthday Treat Policy Updated

Birthdays are special to your child and we want them to enjoy this occasion. At school, each teacher can decide how to handle classroom celebrations in a way that respects the instructional time and learning needs of all the students.

You are welcome to send non-edible birthday treats into your child’s classroom to celebrate their birthday if you choose.
