Winter 2 Session of Lessons
Swimming Lessons from February 8 - March 27, 2021

Registration opens Wednesday, February 2, 2021!
Dear Swim Families,
After surverying many of our families, we understand that you have expressed your concern for group classes during this time in the pandemic. As a result, we will be continuing to offer our group rates of lessons as 1 on 1 classes for this upcoming session. We know many of you appreciated the extra time spent with your children but please remember our lessons typically are groups unless scheduled and charged as private.
As we continue with our swimming lessons, the safety and well being of all our swimmers is always our TOP PRIORITY. Please review the safety measures and policies below that will be implemented in our lessons to ensure proper safety and cleanliness measure are being taken.

Our Members
Screening Survey: Anyone entering the facility must complete our online symptom checklist prior to their arrival. This Entry Screening will be availble on our website and sent our prior to arrival. Anyone experiencing any symptoms of illness must stay home.
Makeups: Anyone instructed to stay home following our screening, will receive a credit on your account for the next session. If you fail to show up for your scheduled class or are more than 20 minutes late, you will forfeit the class.
Check-In: Once the screening survey has been completed, swimmers will be allowed to enter the building and check in with a staff member. You will be allowed to scan the QR code located at the front desk and sign in with names and phone numbers for contact tracing.
Personal Protective Equipment: Face masks must be worn at all times while on the pool deck. Masks may be removed before entering the water. (We understand your concerns regarding not wearing masks in the pool. Masks are not allowed in the water per state guidelines. Instructors will wear a face shield during lessons and mask on pool deck.)
Limited Occupancy: Only one guardian per child will be allowed into the facility. Guardians can wait at a table (1 table per person) or be allowed to wait in their car until 5 minutes prior to the swimmer's lesson ending.
Swim-Ready: Swimmers must come to their lesson no earlier than 5 minutes before the lesson starts and swimmers must come already dressed. Changing rooms will only be available for AFTER the lesson.
Efficient Exit: Once lessons have been completed and you have changed, please promptly exit the facility. This will ensure the staff or lifeguards have adequate time to sanitize the pool area before the next lesson.
Our Team
Screening Survey: All staff will have been screened upon arrival. Any staff experiencing symptoms will be asked to stay at home. Please understand we CAN NOT guarentee the same instructor each week due to the circumstances. We will try our best but instructors may vary. If your lesson is cancelled, you will be issued a credit towards the next session or offered an opportunity to makeup if available.

Preparedness: Our staff have participated in extensive training in order to prepare for and respond to coronavirus.
Our Facility
Parking: Parking or drop offs will not be allowed in the circular loop ouside of the pool. The loop will be actively used and monitored for child care drop off and pickup. To park in the back lot, you should enter through the Pearl Street entrance. Cars exiting the center must exit through the Torrey Street exit only.

Safety Signage: Decals are placed throughout the facility in order to ensure people are six feet apart and to help control the flow of traffic throughout the facility. There will be one door for entering and another for exiting.
Cashless Transactions: Payments must be made prior to the swimmer’s first lesson either online or over the phone.
Changing Rooms: Before exiting the facility swimmers will have the option to change in our brand new changing rooms! Changing rooms will be sanitized after every use and marked as "Clean" or "Used".
Enhanced Sanitization: We have enhanced all cleaning and sanitation protocols to ensure safety and cleanliness. Equipment will be disinfected after every use. Additional cleaning of the facility has also been implemented.
Lessons: Swim lessons will be organized in accordance with state guidelines. Bubbles and goggles will no longer be available for shared use. Additionally, other equipment will be rotated and sanitized between uses. You are welcome to bring your own goggles or bubbles to lessons.
The amount of swim lessons have been reduced and time slots have been staggered in order to minimize face-to-face contact.
Birthday Parties:
At this time we are unable to host parties at our facility.
Paperwork & Payments
After your sign up, you will receive an email within 48 hours to confirm your spot and make a payment. At this time, we will also provide the information to complete the paperwork electronically. Payments, paperwork and/or Groupons must be submitted by Saturday, February 6th.
Forms must be downloaded to your phone/computer to become fillable.

No Drop Off You must remain at Westfield during your child's entire lesson. You may not drop off and leave your child unattended during a lesson. You are welcome to exit the pool area or sit in the hallway overlooking the pool but at no time should you leave the facility without your child. | Parking Parking directly outside the pool is prohibited. You are welcome to park in the back parking lot but at no time should your vehicle be parked right outside of the pool doors in the circular area. These spots are reserved for active pick up and drop off and school buses only. | Registration & Payments Electronic forms are due by the start of your first lesson. If you do not complete your registration by the first week of your lessons, you will not be allowed to participate in lessons. |

What happens if I miss a class?
You MUST schedule everything with Kelly. Instructors cannot be responsible for scheduling or relaying messages.
