Object pronouns seem to be the achilles heel of us all: Review these phrases and see if you can determine what they mean.
Can you tell how these 3 phrases are all saying the same thing? The first uses no object pronoun. The second uses a direct object pronoun. The third uses the indirect as well as the direct object pronoun and becomes ¨"se" before the "la".
- Él dió la comida a ella.
- Él la dió a ella.
- Él se la dió.
