Have you heard about Destiny Collections?
Destiny collections is a collection of resources created through Destiny that you can share with your students and team members. Are your students doing research on on animals? Do you need a one stop shop place to host resources for your students to use? Well Destiny collections does just that!
Go to destinydiscover.com or go to your Destiny desktop icon!
I will be hosting an information session on how to create and use Destiny Collections if you are interested. You can also stop by room 119 to pick up worksheet directions. :-)
Reading Rockets
I recently learned about a great resource that supports reading and writing! Readingrockets.org provides support for teachers, parents, and students. There are videos, activities, and resources for the enhanced reader or the struggling reader. There is also a whole list of reading topics to dig deep into! Check it out!
Teachers need creativity and play too
If YOU need a brain break or a moment of fun stop by room 119 for some ideas or I can join your team at planning to engage in a little fun or a game. I would love to play "Zip Zap Zop" with you. I'm here to make you smile and laugh. I promise you won't be disappointed!
Using Play in our Adult Learning Spaces
Think about who your cheer leading squad is. Who cheers you on everyday? Who in your life gives you encouraging words? I created/drew my squad and speech bubbles with words on how they cheer me on everyday. I encourage you to draw your own squad and place it somewhere where you can see it everyday! Below is what I created. :-)
