One School, One Book

We are so excited about starting our book Stranded! We started our book with a fun filled pep assembly and then passed out books to every family in our school. We had some very happy kiddos.

We want to encourage you to take time to read this book to or with your child. The book was selected because it can be easily enjoyed and followed by younger students, but will still captivate and stimulate older readers. This is a family project-read together!

Follow your chapter outline on your flyer or bookmark so that you can stay up to date with our reading. We will have daily trivia for prizes following each chapter and teachers will facilitate discussions and activities to enhance the at-home reading experience. We also have the map that parents can initial after you or your child reads each chapter. This will help them find their way to our very own treasure chest at the end of our book!!

I hope you love the book as much as I do-I think you will!

Happy Reading,

Mrs. Jennings

Students have access to log in and play literacy and math games from home on a site called Moby Max. With our school license you have the ability to log in and play from anywhere. This is a great way for your student to get some home support and practice with educational skills. Ask your student about their login. If they can't tell you, contact your teacher for details.
