How A Dill Pickle Is Made

The Ingredients

  • 31/2 cups of water
  • 11/4 cups of white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of sea salt
  • 4 cups of cucumber spears
  • 2 cloves garlic whole
  • 2 heads of fresh dill

How to make the pickles

First,stir water,vinegar,sugar, and sea salt together in a saucepan over high heat.Bring to a boil;remove from heat and cool completely.

Next,combine cucumber spears,garlic cloves,and fresh dill in a large glass or plastic container .Pour cooled vinegar mixture over cucumber mixture.

Last,Seal container with lid and refrigerate for a least 3 days.
