Description of Work:
I can make courageous choices about words in my stories.
Watch Henry and Mudge.
Talk about the "sparkly words" or "dollar words" the author used in the story. How can you use these words in your story? Create your character and their traits by using the pages below. Think about what "sparkly words" or "dollar words" you will use in your story. You will continue writing a realistic fiction story about this character all week. On Friday, you will show your story to your teacher.
Math

I can use tools to measure.
Draw lines on a piece of paper or outside with sidewalk chalk or use playdoh. Use beans, paperclips, pennies, or an object of your choice to measure the lines.
Review how to measure (end to end, no gaps or overlays, and round up if it's over the halfway mark).
