Returning to In-Person Learning
In just a couple of weeks, many of our students will be returning to Southwest Middle for in-person learning. At Southwest Middle, approximately 75% of our students have chosen in-person learning. We are lucky as a school community to have the space and resources to safely spread out in areas like our cafeteria, and utilize additional classroom spaces to accommodate class sizes as necessary.
A great deal of planning has gone into making in-person learning safe for students and staff at Southwest. The video below will highlight many of the changes that we have put into place for the safety of our students and staff.

Covid-19 Precautions Student Handbook
Below is a link to our COVID-19 precautions student handbook that details many of the expectations and procedures that we are implementing for a safe return to in-person learning. Guidelines and best practices are constantly changing based on the recommendations from the district and health experts. This handbook will be updated as we approach our return to in-person learning.
