In-Person Orientation Slide Show Coming Later This Week!
Lost and Found Last Call

FRIDAY - No tennis and Virtual Plus students will not have to check-in in person.
All Students Can Receive FREE Lunch and Breakfast!
Next 9 Weeks!
As many students return to in-person learning this next nine weeks, we've had to adjust our staffing and schedules. There will be changes to schedules. Some students who have been in-person already could have their schedules changed too as we've previously mentioned. We will do everything we can to ensure minimal disruptions, but know we can't avoid all.
Next week will be like Day 1 for many of our students and we look forward to welcoming them and reassuring them. Everyone will be here and willing to help our "new" students find their classrooms and work through their day. It will be exciting and fun.

Athletics
Fall sports are upon us, and we can’t wait to see our students compete and perform again. With that said, the governing body for school activities, the University Interscholastic League (UIL), recently issued risk mitigation guidelines for all Texas school districts to follow, including limiting game attendance to 50% capacity.
The district is doing everything we can to ensure fall seasons take place and will take a more conservative approach for the first few games to monitor the situation and make adjustments as needed. With your support and cooperation, we can help keep our student-athletes, performers and entire community safe, while still enjoying a fall sports season.
If you are interested in attending athletic events this fall, we ask that you review LISD’s general guidelines for spectators and tickets.
Middle School
- Admission tickets at the gate:
- $2 for adults
- $1 for students
- Due to capacity limitations, LISD requests only two adults per student-athlete attend middle school games.
- Student spectators not accompanied by one of the two above mentioned adults will not be allowed to attend middle school events.
- Spectators will be asked to leave the competition area after the completion of their student-athlete's game to ensure proper physical distancing.
- Due to very limited seating, NO free admission passes. This includes employee/faculty badges, student athletic passes, district passes and coaching association passes

B.I.G. Dogs
Briarhill families - we need dads/grandads/uncles and other father figures to be a part of our B.I.G. Dogs committee to add to the BMS culture. Ideally, our B.I.G. Dogs pack will be established prior to the start of school, so please click here to enroll now.
Who can’t spare an hour at some point this year to 1) make impressionable middle school students feel seen and valued 2) increase school security and 3) decrease bullying? That’s a lot of value for one hour at school! B.I.G.= Being Involved is Great!
