Gators of the Week - Work hard. Get smart. Do good.

Gators of the Week: Graeson Kiser's Project is Published

Work hard. Graeson Kiser chose to create a gift (a painting) to donate to Lexington Medical Center as a part of her Senior Experience. Graeson participated in the LMC Partner's Program last summer. In a presentation last week, Graeson donated the painting attached to the Lexington Medical Center staff. Great job Graeson.

Gators of the Week: HOSA students shine at State Convention

Get Smart: Many of our HOSA students participated in the state convention this past weekend and RBHS had many winners.

Lora lashkova got first place in pharmacology. Our creative problem solving team of Andrew Griffin, Carly Mahanna, Mackey Williamson, and Lydia Carter. Got first place.

We placed top ten for forensics with Megan locklier and Abby mellott, top ten for health education with Kayla prevatte and Alli Glenn and recognition for top ten with Morgan Steele in pharmacology.

The five first place competitors qualify for nationals in Anaheim, California in June.

Gators of the Week: Lynch squats 600 lbs.

Do good. Connor Lynch became River Bluff's first 600 lb. squatter. Amazing feat for him.

EL Design Principle in Action

Service and Compassion

We are crew, not passengers. Students and teachers are strengthened by acts of consequential service to others, and one of an Expeditionary Learning school’s primary functions is to prepare students with the attitudes and skills to learn from and be of service.

Congratulations to Coach Williams and others who have planned and organized an amazing March Madness for CREW games in basketball. Seeing all students engaged in this competition for a great cause is full filling to lead in this capacity. Job well done.
