Cheyenne PTO
We know everyone is busy with not only school and work responsibilities, but also extracurricular activities and other day-to-day errands. In the hopes to make Teacher Appreciation Week, which is May 2-6, easier we are asking for donations as we continue to spoil our Cheyenne faculty and staff. Then you won’t have to worry about sending in goodies…we will take care of it for you!
All donations can be sent to our PTO via the PayPal link below. We are asking that all donations be submitted by April 15th giving us time to plan for the week.

Please Remind Your Child About Their Student IDs
EVERY student was issued a Student ID Badge at the beginning of the year or when they arrived to Cheyenne. We have reissued IDs to those students who have repeatedly printed stickers. Per the District Policy, this MUST be worn EVERY day with the district-issued lanyard and the picture must face out. 6th graders are maroon, 7th grade green, and 8th grade blue.
If your student does not have their badge they will need to print a temporary badge for the day as they enter the school. We have three kiosks.
It is VERY important that the student remember their badge each and every day. A temporary badge should only be needed on a rare occasion not for everyday use.
Please continue to remind your child to put their badge in the same spot every day so that they have it with them every day. AS they walk out the door or get into the car ask them these two things… Do you have your ID? Is your Chromebook charged?
Student IDs help us know who should be present on our campus, they are also used to check-in and out of the office, to scan for lunch, and to checkout books in the library.

DROPPING OFF ITEMS
We ask that you check with your student before they walk out the door and make sure they are prepared for the day. This includes having their, Chromebook, ID and Lunch. If your student does forget their lunch or something they need for school, we have a cart in our front lobby with grade levels. This will be rolled back into the common area for the students to pick up their items during passing. Please drop off LUNCHES or SCHOOL SUPPLIES ONLY.
If you are dropping off an instrument or athletic equipment we will place this by the back office door for them to come up and get during their passing or after school. Please make arrangements with your student regarding these items and where to retrieve them.
