Scholarship Opportunity

The deadline for the Jack Killion Entrepreneurial Scholarship is approaching fast! This is a reminder that applications must be submitted by July 1st, 2022. Details at www.gswoman.com
The Garden State Woman Education Foundation (GSWEF) is eager to announce the Jack Killion Entrepreneurial Scholarship, a one-time, $4,000 award for high school seniors applying to a United States based college or university. We aim for the Jack Killion Entrepreneurial Scholarship to gain the visibility needed for any qualified students to apply. In accordance with promoting this opportunity, we would be honored to have our scholarship application be made available to 2022 high school graduates. Information and eligibility criteria for the Jack Killion Entrepreneurial Scholarship are shown below.
Jack Killion Entrepreneurial Scholarship
The family and friends of Jack Killion, a consummate entrepreneur, have created the scholarship to encourage future entrepreneurs. It is being administered through the Garden State Woman Education Foundation, a 501 c3.
Amount: $4,000 one-time award
Application Deadline: July 1, 2022
Target Candidate: High school senior entrepreneurs who have demonstrated an ability to make a positive impact by using their entrepreneurial abilities.
Qualifications:
- High school senior who is applying to a U.S. based college or university
- GPA of 3.6 or higher on a 4.0 system
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial skills through the creation of a business/venture, or enhancement of an existing business/venture
- Minimum of two references
- A written response to questions regarding the students’ entrepreneurial experiences
Award Determination: The recipient of the scholarship will be selected by a panel of leading business leaders. All information provided to the panel will be considered. Applications must be submitted no later than July 1st of 2022. Scholarship funds will be sent directly to the recipients’ college or university ahead of the academic year.

AP Spanish Language Meeting TODAY
There will be a brief meeting for all students taking AP Spanish Language and Culture today during the second half of lunch in room D-126.
AP Human Geography Meeting TODAY
Anyone who is taking AP Human Geography please meet Mrs. Walter in the media center today for lunch part B to discuss summer reading-- all semesters will be doing summer reading!
AP Psychology Meeting TODAY
There will be a required meeting for all students taking AP Psychology next year today in the media center during the first part of lunch. If you cannot attend, please see Mr. Feldman or Ms. DiFiore for the required information.
