We are very excited to announce that Learning Spaces 1 and 2 will be heading out for a day of exploration and fun continuing our learning from last term (the impact of humans on the environment, biodiversity etc).
Where: Foxton Wildlife Trust and Estuary
When: 2nd December 2022, 9:15am - 2:00pm
Who: All learners in LS1 and LS2
What: Foxton Wildlife Centre Visit, Marine Metre Squared Estuary Study & clean up!
Wear: PE Uniform, socks, sneakers, school jersey and sun hat.
Bring: Morning tea, lunch and a drink bottle with water.
We will bus to the Wildlife Centre and have a tour there before boarding the buses to go to the estuary for the Marine Metre Squared STEM activity investigating estuarine health. After this we will do a rubbish clean up at the estuary, then have lunch and play before busing back to school.
We need as many parent helpers as possible to make this trip happen. We are also requiring a helper(s) to take a car as an emergency vehicle.
Please contact your child’s classroom teacher by Friday 18 November if you are able to assist with this amazing trip.
Thanks in advance for your support.
Ngā mihi nui,
