Murray's Gifted Resources
April 27th - COVID 19 Edition
A Note from Mrs. Shook
Students,
I must admit that I am heartbroken not to finish the school year with all of you, especially my 8th grade students. It is unreal to think that we will not be stepping back into the doors of Murray this school year. I will continue to post assignments for you in the AIG Google Classroom throughout the remainder of the year.
8th Grade students, we have learned that you will receive the high school credit for your courses as long as you continue working and pass the course. I have attached a FAQ page below this message that may be helpful to your family. Just like before, you will get credit for the course but it will not count in your GPA.
As we move forward in the next few weeks, it is so important that you remain engaged and learning. Please make sure you are doing the work that your teachers provide. Please remember that you do not have to complete all of the assignments in the AIG Google Classroom. These are to help you stay engaged, challenged, and provide opportunities for you to grow as a learner. Do what you can and what appeals to you.
Please let me know if I can help support you in some way, even if it is with your regular classroom.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Shook
