Matter
Matter will take up space and have a weight its big or small it has a shape that is round or flat or has straight sides and edges.
Solid
A solid has shape and size.They hold their shape because the molecules are tight together
Liquid
A liquid does not have a shape. it has to be in a bottle or cup.If you pour a liquid out of its bottle it will drip.Molecules in a liquid are not close together
Gas
A gas does not have a color or a shape.If you let out gas it spreads wherever it can go.The molecules move fast and are really far apart
