Titanium Dioxide [TiO2]
By: Casey Mullen
I named this mole Van Gogh Mole, after the famous French Artist Vincent Van Gogh. I decided to make my mole an artist because Titanium Dioxide [TiO2] is used as a white pigment in paints, varnishes, enamels, and lacquers to heighten whiteness, opacity, and brightness. Another interesting fact about TiO2 is that it is used in coated fabrics and to whiten shoes!
