Our next football game is at Challenger Columbia Stadium at 6 pm on THURSDAY night! This is also the night when we celebrate our seniors (along with the seniors in all of the other activities.) More information about Senior Night will be coming soon, but as it stands now, seniors will need to find a ride to the stadium at 5pm to be recognized - we currently can't schedule buses that early in the evening.

Congratulations to the Falcon Marching Band and Color Guard. They received straight ones at UIL from all three judges, the highest rating possible, and advanced to the Area Marching Contest on October 29 at Challenger Columbia stadium.

It's going to be a late night, but hopefully a rewarding one if we advance to the next level in the competition: STATE!

On Monday, students who want to audition for Region Full Orchestra and Freshman Region Band will sign up during classes. To complete the entry, students will need to bring $20 for the entry fee (cash, or checks payable to CLHS Band). Region orchestra auditions are on Monday, November 14 and Freshman Region Band auditions are on Tuesday, November 15. Both auditions will be at Clear Creek HS and begin after school. More details will be available as we get closer to those dates. Regular Region Band auditions will be in phases December 2-5, and students will sign up for those auditions at a later date.

Poinsettias and Christmas cacti go one sale staring tomorrow! Not only is this a fund raiser, but the plants also line the stage for our Holiday concert making a gorgeous display for our students and their Holiday music. Plants will be picked up after the concert on December 6th. Plants are $15 each and are fully dressed and ready to gift.

For every 5 plants sold, a student will have their name entered for a $50 Visa gift card!
