Technique Tip

Sculling is one of the most important movements in swimming. During the swim clinic, Carlton Bruner taught sculling drills for all the strokes. Sculling is important to practice because it allows swimmers to get a feel for the water and teaches swimmers to hang onto the water at every stage in the stroke. Elite swimmers practice many yards of sculling. So try a few sculling drills to learn to have a more proficient and propulsive stroke. Be prepared to work on this at some upcoming workouts with your Greenville Splash coaches. Watch this video for more information.
