Congratulations to our Chess Club
Twelve members of the BSE Chess Club participated in the Pike Scholastic Chess Tournament October 31st. Students faced tough competition from approximately 150 children from central Indiana. First grader Sam K. took fourth place in his division. The BSE second and third grade chess players took second place in the team competition. Team members were: Victor J., Agastya A., Arjun T., Sanjana M., Evan C., and Liam K. Also, as it was Halloween, there was a costume competition. Fourth grader Alec S. took first place for his costume of a doughnut. Congratulations to all who participated!
